Ranger is available in XL, STX, XLT, SPORT, FX4 and FX4 Level II trims, in Regular Cab and two- and four-door SuperCab configurations. A 7-foot box option is available on XL and XLT Regular Cab Styleside models.
Ranger offers three engine choices, including a 2.3-liter I4 and two V6 engines. The 2.3-liter DOHC I4 produces 143 horsepower at 5,250 rpm and 154 pound-feet of torque at 3,750 rpm. Ranger’s 3.0-liter OHV V6 engine is capable of producing 148 horsepower at 4,900 rpm and 180 pound-feet of torque at 3,950 rpm.
Ranger also is available with a 4.0-liter SOHC V6 that produces 207 horsepower at 5,250 rpm and 238 pound-feet of torque at 3,000 rpm. All three engines are equipped with a five-speed manual transmission and are available with a five-speed automatic transmission.
Four-wheel-drive and comprehensive chassis upgrades are available for off-road use.
