Scion xA

The xA, part of an innovative line of affordable, fun cars introduced in 2004, receives sporty styling revisions and new standard equipment. In addition to a redesigned audio head unit from Pioneer, an Apple iPod compatible Pioneer audio system is now available as an accessory upgrade. Scion is the first brand to offer iPod connectivity and control across its entire lineup.

Scion models are designed to appeal to the buyer who wants a vehicle that is personal, functional, and easily affordable. The Scion xA combines unique design and spunky performance with legendary Toyota quality and low operating costs. At the same time, the xA allows a considerable degree of vehicle personalization thanks to a wide range of port- and dealer-installed accessories.

The xA is powered by a sophisticated 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine that features Variable Valve Timing with intelligence (VVT-i). The engine produces 103 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 101 lb-ft. of peak torque at 4,200 rpm.

A Pioneer AM/FM/CD head unit with iPod control is now available as an all-new accessory upgrade for all Scions. This head unit integrates track, artist and album information from the iPod into a one-line display on the head unit’s screen.
