Porsche Boxter

With powerful engines purposely positioned immediately behind the driver’s and passenger’s seats to optimize the outstanding balance of an especially athletic chassis, the Boxster and Boxster S satisfy enthusiast drivers with exceptional levels of dynamic capabilities.

The Boxster draws its power from Porsche’s 2.7-liter, horizontally opposed “flat” six-cylinder “boxer” engine while the Boxster S is propelled by a 3.2-liter engine that shares the basic architecture but features enhancements to provide substantially more power.

The 2.7-liter engine provides 240 horsepower and 199 pound-feet of torque, enough to accelerate the Boxster from a standing start to 60 miles per hour in less than six seconds.

The 3.2-liter engine pumps out 280 horsepower and 236 pound-feet of torque, pushing the Boxster S to 60 mph in a mere 5.2 seconds.
