Why don't advertise Citroën the passenger car version of the Berlingo van as the successor to the 2CV?
Both the Multispace and the 2CV are basic, versatile and fun to use. It's available either with a 1.4 petrol-injection or with a 1.9 diesel-engine.
The Berlingo Multispace is basically a van with an added rear row of seats. It has a luggage space of 664 dm3 and if the roof is used it grows to 1350 dm3. It's enormous.
The Citroën Berlingo/Peugeot Partner duo are already a hit in Europe. I think the Multispace will also be a success.


Peugeot

The world debut of the 306 estate plus a restyling of the whole 306 range were highlighted.
In addition to the exterior changes there are major reinforcements to the bodywork structure, side protection in the doors, a windscreen wiper with an integrated rain sensor, an aspheric rearview mirror and side airbags.
The Estate variant will act as a transporter, not as a bijou.
While Citroën developed a passenger car from its Berlingo van, Peugeot created an off-roader on the sister-Partner base.
The Rancho is, just as its name suggest, a spiritual successor to the Matra-Simca Ranchero from the '70s.
