There's lots of depressing news about America and the world today, but the most depressing and bewildering is the information that America is buying about millions of barrels of oil from Russia - FROM RUSSIA? They're not even a terrorist Middle East oil country, they're our old foe from way back. What's more, if it wasn't for Russia joining forces with Nazi Germany in the 1930s, World War II may never have started.
Oh, did you forget that Stalin and the Commies (not a punk rock band) were Hitler and the Nazis first partners in world conquest? Yep, when Adolph was sending his military to invade southern Poland and other nearby European countries, Joe was sending his military to invade eastern Poland, Scandinavia, and eastern European nations that the Nazi had little interest in. This was by design and agreement between the two dictatorships. (SEE: German-Soviet Non-Aggression Pact, also called the Molotov–Ribbentrop Pact.
So, here we are, living through almost a flash-back of Hitler and Stalin's mad quest for world domination with the latest Russian dictator (Vladimir Putin) inventing reasons to invade neighboring countries, while the Chinese are knee deep in bat guano inventing diseases to kill off the world.
And what is Joe Biden's response to this?
- "Thanks Vlad, we'll take a few more millions of barrels of oil from you, and thanks Pandaman, we'll buy more cheap junk from your slave laborers. We'll
gladly help fund your efforts to destroy democracy."
The way to bust Russia is not to stop buying oil from them and open the Keystone Pipeline. The solution is to disrupt and devalue oil by making it irrelevant. The way to do that is to substitute crude oil with domestically produced ethanol. This is something that all countries that are dependent on oil can do. They can all make they're own ethanol.
The only thing that Russia produces that is of any value is oil, and because of what is going on with their invasion of Ukraine, oil is trading at around $100 a barrel. Their vodka is mediocre at best. If the west can cut their reliance on oil products by using more ethanol, not only will Russia not be able to sell millions of barrels outside their country, but when the price falls back to a more realistic worth of somewhere between $10 and $20 a barrel, they won't be able to afford to invade any other country.
Every single internal combustion engine in America and the world can run on ethanol-gasoline blend levels far higher than E10. A national mandate of E15 will pretty much obliterate any need in America for Russian oil. An E20 mandate would shock the entire oil-producing world. An E30 to E50 mandate will not only ensure that most all vehicles get their best MPG, but all oil-producing terrorist nations will be crippled, and America will meet any clean environment goals it thinks it needs.
