Business Reply Mail Guidelines
All type on BRMs must be in capital letters. All mail pieces must be
rectangular in shape. Any size different from sample, please O.K.
with local post office and the magazine production manager. The
complete address, including name of permit holder must be printed
on mail piece.
Facing identification mark (FIM) is required on all BRMs.
Be sure to print NO POSTAGE NECESSARY IF MAILED IN THE
UNITED STATES in the upper right hand corner of mail piece. It
should be enclosed in a box.
Print a series of horizontal bars immediately below the NO
POSTAGE endorsement. The bars must be uniform in size, 1" in
length and from 1/16" to 3/16" thick and evenly spaced.
The BRM must contain a postnet barcode. The barcode represents
the 9-digit Zip+4 code. A camera-ready barcode may be obtained free
of charge from your local post office.
Be sure to take your BRM samples to your local post office for
approval. A surcharge will be assessed for all nonstandard pieces.

Other Countries:

Air mail additional $75 per year. Any single copy,
add $5.00 postage and handling per order.
Back issues, $10 U.S., $16 Canada and Mexico,
$25 other countries.
