Chrysler Raises Some Prices for 1996

Riding a wave of increasing popularity, Chrysler's 1997 minivan and pickup prices will show significant price hikes when they hit the market. The Corporation is raising light truck and car prices 1.9%, on average. Price tags on the company's most popular models are going up even higher.

Chrysler raised the sticker price on its Dodge Grand Caravan ES long wheel base 7.3 percent or $1,930, not including a $580 destination charge. Chrysler also raised prices on the Dodge Ram Club Cab pickup truck with four-wheel drive and a short wheel base 4.6% or $936. The Company hiked prices for the 1997 four-door Neon Highline model by 9.3% or $1,075.
