Washington DC August 23, 2023; The AIADA reported a list of the Fastest-Selling Used Vehicles of 2023. Buying a used car can be a great way to historically pay much less for a used car you really want but can't afford new, but the used market hasn't been an accommodating place for value shoppers over the last few years.

Website Autoblog said that things are still a little wonky heading into late 2023, according to a new iSeeCars study shows that reports that vehicle buyers are buying used models instead of outrageously priced new models, keeping prices high for famous brands and slowing sales of some new vehicles.

Karl Brauer, iSeeCArs executive analyst, said that their study shows that used car sales have sped up as buyers are continuing to seek value (or a familiar car to drive) in the used car market despite a wide range of new car digital gadgets and options that the car makers believe the new car buyer wants", he noted.

Buyers have waited (or are waiting) until prices come back to reality some have and sales have sped up as some prices fall. Brauer expects demand to remain steady over the next six months to a year as prices continue to drop.

Used cars sold in an average of 49.2 days in July, 6.1 percent faster than in 2022. Average prices dropped to $33,240 from $34,376 a year ago, representing a 3.6 percent decline. Click here for the complete AutoBlog news report
