I received Cindy Zimmerman's story this morning about the Renewable Fuel Association's response to a new poll conducted by the American Petroleum Institute. Cindy is, of course, VP/Co-Founder of ZimmComm New Media, LLC.

Cindy's story quotes RFA President and CEO Geoff Cooper. Geoff says, "API’s newest poll is so manipulative it can’t even be called a ‘push poll.’ It’s more like a ‘shove poll’ that bullies respondents into answering the questions exactly the way API wants them answered. These results are meaningless and do nothing to objectively represent consumer opinion on E15.”

Needless to say, Geoff is correct, as are some some the other statements in Cindy's story, such as: "Cooper adds that since E15 was approved as a motor fuel in 2011, there have been no reported cases of consumer misfueling or engine damage related to the fuel blend. While API continues to spread false and misleading information about E15, American drivers deserve to know the truth - E15 is a cleaner, lower priced, higher octane fuel that will soon be available year-round and nationwide."

In keeping with Cindy's story and Geoff's comments, and to show API that they're not the only ones who are capable of conducting a parti pris poll, THE AUTO CHANNEL is excited to bring back the poll we originally conducted in 2015. When the polling is completed, we will be forwarding the results to the people at API and all the other stooge oil-industry organizations we can find.

BONUS - My 641-page book "THE ETHANOL PAPERS" is available online and it's FREE. It's a rough-and-tumble, no holds-barred examination of the ethanol vs. gasoline issue. Written in plain jargon, simple enough that even brain-washed scientists, academics, and politicians can understand. But this is no “Biofuels for Dummies,” it’s the most in-depth, complete explanation of the issue and it’s targeted for smart people who really want to know the truth. To read it CLICK HERE
