The Ford Focus sees a number of changes for 2002 not the least of which is this the ZX5 five-door hatchback. A six-disc in-dash CD changer is standard and a power moonroof can now be ordered. The precise steering and firm suspension provide a good smooth ride with an engine that balances power with fuel economy. The look and feel is quite European, and in fact the Focus is quite a hit in jolly old England.

The interior is tasteful and ergonomically correct - with trim levels and features that can be custom tailored to the owner's tastes. Front and rear passengers enjoyed the ride and there is good cargo space to boot. We recommended last year's Focus as a good value and well thought-out vehicle, and it looks like this year's edition is another winner.
