2000 Dodge Dakota Quad Cab -- Joining the Second-generation line-up that debut in 1997, the 2000 Quad Cab Dodge Dakota can also be classified as part of a popular new class of truck hybrids -- the Sport Utility Truck (SUTs).
Already larger than other trucks in its class, the Dakota Quad Cab has four full-size doors, seating for six, a small bed (5'3"), and 60/40 split folding rear seats. The Quad Cab comes with three engine choices: a 3.9-liter OHV 175 hp V6, a new 4.7-liter SOHC 235 hp V8 with aluminum alloy heads, or a 5.9-liter OHV 245 hp V8 with cast iron heads.
