1996 BUSCH GRAND NATIONAL CHANGES

Driver: Phil Parsons returns to his own team for 1996 after an up and down 1995 in the Luxaire 99.

12 Michael Waltrip Motorsports
Driver: Michael Waltrip.
Sponsor: MW Windows will sponsor Michael's limited 1996 BGN program.
14 Patty Moise
Driver: Patty Moise has formed her own team for 1996.
Sponsor: Dial Soap/Purex
20 Moroso Racing
This team announced back in May that it would shut its doors after Homestead. Fina will likely show up as a sponsor on another team and Lance has already been announced as the primary sponsor on the Rodney Combs 43.
23 Mark Rypien Motorsports
Chad Little will be driving one of the slippery new 1996 Pontiac Grand Prixs in BGN and in a limited Winston Cup schedule. Gary Cogswell has been promoted to the role of General Manager with Harold Holly replacing hom as crew chief. Four new team members were also recently added. This team will also run a limited Winston Cup schedule in 1996.

28 Smokey Mountain Chew Racing

Sponsor: World Championship Wrestling returns to BGN to sponsor Steve Grissom's team for an 18 race campaign in 1996.

32 DAJ Racing
Driver: Dale Jarrett
Sponsor: Band Aid will sponsor Dale Jarrett's BGN team for an 18 race campaign in 1996. Hudson Technologies joins as an associate sponsor for 18 races and the primary sponsor for an additional races.
34 TEAM 34 Racing
Driver:Mike McLaughlin
Sponsor: Royal Oak Charcoal will sponsor the #34 Busch team with driver Mike McLaughlin next year. Jack Baldwin, Director of Motorsports at Royal Oaks also expects to drive in selected SuperTruck races in 1996.

35 Laughlin Racing
This new team will a limited 20-25 race '96 Busch season with the intention of running full time in '97 & '98. No primary sponsor has been signed - but associate sponsors General Transportation Services, Valenite Tools and Cincinnati Milacron are on-board.

Crew Chief: Bryan Smith moves from D-R Racing.

This new team will run a limited schedule in 1996 starting at Richmond in March in Chevrolets.
