Reserved Infield Spots Still Available at Talladega

TALLADEGA, Ala. (March 27) - Talladega Superspeedway still has reserved
infield spaces available to assure race fans of ideal locations for April's
"Track Attack Weekend," April 26-27, featuring the Winston 500 NASCAR Winston
Cup Series race and the Birmingham Automobile Dealers 500K presented by EasyCare
NASCAR Busch Series event.

Eastaboga Blvd. And Talladega Blvd., located toward the backstretch of the
2.66-mile Talladega Superspeedway, are equipped to accommodate all vehicles from
campers to cars.

These reserved areas eliminate the hassle of finding a vacant location once
in the infield and are located in prime viewing areas. Ticket holders for
Eastaboga Blvd. and Talladega Blvd. also are exempt from having to wait in line
to purchase infield tickets on race weekend.

"We felt that since we offer reserved seating in the grandstands, that it
was only fair to offer something similar to our infield fans," said Talladega
Superspeedway President Grant Lynch. "The response has been really good, but we
still have a few left.

"This does several things for our infield guests. First of all it allows
them to know where they will be watching the race from. They won't have to come
in and ride around the infield looking for a spot -- they can just drive to
their reserved area. It also takes these people out of the lines that gather
outside the tunnel during race time waiting to get their tickets. These people
will be able to drive right in."

"Track Attack Weekend" gets underway Thursday, April 24 with practice and
Busch Pole Award Qualifying for the Birmingham Automobile Dealers 500K presented
by EasyCare at 3:30 p.m. Central.

Advance Auto Parts Qualifying Day, April 25, features NASCAR Winston Cup
Series practice and Busch Pole Qualifying to set positions 1-25 for the Winston
500. The starting field of up to 43 cars for the NASCAR Busch Series race will
also be set in second-round qualifying at 10:30 a.m.

The Birmingham Automobile Dealers 500K presented by EasyCare is scheduled
for Saturday, April 26 along with Busch Beer Second-Round Qualifying for the
Winston 500 to fill the field of up to 43 cars. The Winston 500 is set for
Sunday, April 27 at 12 noon Central.
