Thrifty Joins Air Canada's Frequent Flyer Program & Celebrates By Offering Double Miles to Members

    TULSA, Okla., Jan. 17 Thrifty Car Rental, in celebration
of its new relationship with Air Canada, is launching with a double miles
promotion for Aeroplan(R) members beginning February 6, 2001.
    Aeroplan members who rent two days or more will receive double miles of
1,000 miles per qualifying rental transaction (twice the normal 500 miles per
rental) from February 6 through March 31, 2001, good at all Canada and U.S.
Thrifty locations.
    After March 31, 2001, Aeroplan members will receive 500 miles per
qualifying transaction when renting from Thrifty locations worldwide.
