SI Technologies Names Kim Yorgason, CPA, Chief Financial Officer
TUSTIN, Calif.--Jan. 16, 2001--SI Technologies, Inc. , which designs, manufactures and markets high-performance industrial sensors, weighing and factory automation equipment and systems and related products, today announced that Kim C. Yorgason has joined the Company as Chief Financial Officer.Mr. Yorgason graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting (1975) from Weber State University and received became a Certified Public Accountant in 1979. Prior to joining SI Technologies, he served as Controller with Ventana Medical Systems, Inc. , a manufacturer of medical instruments and consumables, from May 1997 until July 1999. Mr. Yorgason held management positions (including Vice President, Finance and Controller) with SensorMedics Corp., an international manufacturer and marketer of medical instruments, from 1988 through 1996. During his earlier career, he served as Director of International Accounting and Controller with MAI Basic Four, Inc., a $300 million computer manufacturer, and as Senior Accountant with IMODCO, an international engineering company.
