Thrifty Car Rental Joins Gold Points Rewards Program
  2500 Bonus Points Awarded for Every Third Rental & a Free Rental Day After
                                 Ninth Rental

    TULSA, Okla., Jan. 15 Thrifty Car Rental today became the
exclusive car rental partner in the Gold Points Rewards Program, a customer
loyalty program in the U.S. and Canada with more than 6 million cardholders
and partners that include Radisson(R) Hotels & Resorts, MCI WorldCom(SM),
Country Inns & Suites By Carlson(R), T.G.I. Friday's(R), Carlson Wagonlit
Travel (Canada), Famous Players Theatres and nearly 150 on-line partners like

    Gold Points Rewards members will receive 750 points every time they rent
from Thrifty and show their Gold Points card.  With every third rental at
Thrifty, members will receive a bonus of 2500 points in addition to the
750-point award.  With every ninth rental, members will receive a certificate
good for one free day car rental at Thrifty.
