ELKHART, Ind.--Jan. 9, 2001--CTS Corporation , a world leader in automotive position sensor and actuator technology, today announced that CTS Automotive Products, headquartered in Elkhart, IN, has been chosen by a Tier I automotive supplier to provide electrical actuators for a global automotive manufacturer's air/fuel management control valve application. Initial deliveries of production-intent, prototype actuators were supplied in the fourth quarter of last year. Full production will begin in calendar year 2002. The multi-year program is valued at over $30 million in new business for CTS Corporation.
