Goodyear Store Coming to St. Charles

    ST. CHARLES, Md., Jan. 9 Another successful enterprise is
locating in St. Charles, the planned development that is Charles County's
premier address for business.
    A state-of-the-art Goodyear service center and car care facility will be
constructed on St. Patrick's Drive in St. Charles on a parcel purchased from
American Community Properties Trust (ACPT), the developer of St. Charles.
Construction is expected to begin in February, and store officials expect that
the store will be open in mid summer 2001.
    The location of the new facility will give Goodyear customers throughout
Waldorf easy, convenient access to the store's wide array of professional
goods and services, said store owner John Sullivan, who also operates a
Goodyear facility on Route 301 in Waldorf. "We're a small business, family
owned and operated, that strives to offer all our customers good values and
quality products. St. Patrick's Drive will be an ideal location for us to
extend our record of outstanding service to the residents of St. Charles,"
said Sullivan.
