Land Rover Announces Marketing Dept. Realignment and New Appointments

LANHAM, Md. - Land Rover North America, Inc. announces a realignment of its marketing department and several new departmental appointments. Andrew Polsinelli has been named General Manager, Marketing Services. Paul Ferraiolo has been named General Manager, Product Planning. The company has also hired Natalie Bow as Relationship Marketing Manager; Dean Evans as Interactive Media & E-Commerce Manager; and Pete Wendy as Shows & Exhibits Manager. John Burgess, Daric Miller and Andy Thomas have been named Freelander, Range Rover and Discovery Model Managers, respectively. ANDREW POLSINELLI, GENERAL MANAGER, MARKETING SERVICES In his new position, Andrew Polsinelli is responsible for directing the marketing efforts for all Land Rover products distributed by Land Rover North America. Previously, Mr. Polsinelli was the company's General Manager, Internet & Customer Relationship. He has worked for Land Rover North America since January 2000. Prior to that time, he was Model Line Manager, Xterra SUV for Nissan North America, Inc. He has over 11 years of automotive industry experience. Mr. Polsinelli holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Florida. PAUL FERRAIOLO, GENERAL MANAGER, PRODUCT PLANNING Paul Ferraiolo is responsible for product and price planning; market research; and the vehicle accessory business for Land Rover North America. Mr. Ferraiolo rejoins Land Rover North America after holding several product planning and product marketing positions during a two-year assignment with Land Rover's operations in the United Kingdom and, most recently, three-years' work in Munich, Germany for BMW AG. Prior to his overseas work, Mr. Ferraiolo had been employed by Land Rover North America since 1988 in a number of product planning and engineering positions. Before joining Land Rover North America, he worked in chassis development at Mack Trucks, Inc. Mr. Ferraiolo holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Lafayette College in Easton, Pa. NATALIE BOW, RELATIONSHIP MARKETING MANAGER Natalie Bow is responsible for Land Rover North America's new-prospect and owner communications activities, as well as all related database management functions. Ms. Bow was previously an account executive in the New York offices of OgilvyOne Consulting, where she performed launch communications work for the Jaguar X-Type on behalf of Jaguar Cars North America. Prior to working for OgilvyOne, Ms. Bow worked for Nissan North America, Inc. as a member of the Xterra and Sentra model line marketing launch teams. Ms. Bow has also collaborated on a research project commissioned by Dr. Wolfgang Reitzle, chairman of Ford's Premier Automotive Group, titled, "The Future of Luxury." She holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Texas at Austin. DEAN L. EVANS, INTERACTIVE MEDIA & E-COMMERCE MANAGER Dean L. Evans will direct Land Rover North America's corporate Web site activity. He will be responsible for the company's new media activities and its e-commerce retail distribution channel. Mr. Evans was previously employed with San Diego, Calif.-based Carprices.com, where he was responsible for Web site strategy and development functions, as well as the company's dealer acquisition activities. His prior experience includes customer service, operations and information technology work for several automotive companies including the former Chrysler Corporation and auto retailer Les Vogel Automotive of Burlingame, Calif. Mr. Evans holds a master's degree in business administration from the University of Phoenix, Pleasanton, Calif. and a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of South Dakota. PETE WENDY, SHOWS & EXHIBITS MANAGER Pete Wendy is responsible for Land Rover North America's presence at all automotive and trade shows, exhibits and other related events. Mr. Wendy was previously Infiniti Division Merchandising Manager with the Somerset, N.J. office of Nissan North America, Inc. There, he was responsible for Infiniti's Eastern regional auto shows, promotional and sponsorship activities, as well as corporate events such as dealer meetings and employee recognition programs. His prior experience includes advertising work for the Petersen Publishing Co.'s Hot Rod Magazine and advertising agency BBDO New York. Mr. Wendy holds a bachelor's degree in communications from Boston University. OTHER MARKETING DEPARTMENT POSITIONS The Marketing department realignment has resulted in the following appointments for existing Land Rover personnel: John Burgess becomes Freelander Model Manager. Daric Miller becomes Range Rover Model Manager. Andy Thomas becomes Discovery Model Manager. Other Marketing department managers include: Terry Drake Merchandising Manager; Rod MacKenzie Accessories Manager; and Larry Rosinski Long Range Planning & Research Manager
