Polaris Industries Names Richard Edwards Director of Investor Relations

    MINNEAPOLIS--Jan. 8, 2000--Today Polaris Industries named Richard Edwards to the newly-created position of Director, Investor Relations. Edwards will be responsible for the company's communications with the investment community, including building awareness and understanding of the company's strategy and performance among institutional and retail investors, attracting new investor interest and ensuring a fair valuation for Polaris shares.

    Edwards will serve as the primary liaison between Polaris and the investment community, the New York Stock Exchange, the Securities and Exchange Commission, the news media, and the financial and trade communities.
    With more than 20 years experience in investor relations, treasury, internal audit and accounting, Edwards most recently worked at H.B. Fuller as Director of Investor Relations, developing an impressive track record. Edwards holds a BBA degree in Finance from Wichita State University and an MBA from the University of Minnesota. He also holds a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
