Dura Automotive Elects David R. Bovee as CFOROCHESTER HILLS, Mich., Jan. 5 Dura Automotive Systems, Inc. , today announced that David R. Bovee, currently vice president; business development, will assume responsibility as vice president and chief financial officer for the company. Bovee served as the company's first vice president and chief financial officer beginning in 1990 when the company was formed as Dura Mechanical Components, Inc. Prior to then he was employed for many years in predecessor companies to Dura in increasingly responsible finance related roles. In 1997 he began his business development position when the company focused on its acquisition and growth strategy. Bovee replaces William F. Ohrt, who has resigned from the company effective January 10, 2001. "Bill has helped build a highly qualified finance team for Dura and has been responsible for implementing modern and effective control systems throughout the company. Both will be valuable for Dura's future and we thank Bill for all his significant and long lasting contributions," said Karl Storrie, president and chief executive officer of Dura.
