KRYPTIC Technology Hits the Road

    BURLINGTON, Vt.--Jan. 4, 2001--Applied Biometrics Products, Inc., a recognized leader in fingerprint verification technology, will have their KRYPTIC(TM) technology showcased in Visteon Corporation's custom demonstration vehicle at the 2001 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Jan. 6-9. Working closely with VISTEON'S team of professionals, this custom integration of Applied Biometrics Products KRYPTIC(TM) technology enables:

--	An increased level of security over traditional keys which can be transferred to an unauthorized user.
--	On the spot enrollment and verification of authorized users.
