Laforza Automobiles Announces Appointment of David Hemmings as Chief Executive Officer of Laforza International

    ESCONDIDO, Calif.--Jan. 4, 2001--Laforza Automobiles Inc. (Pink Sheets:LFZA) announced the appointment of David Hemmings as chief executive officer of its manufacturing and automobile operations, Laforza International, srl in Cherasco, Italy.
    Hemmings has vast international experience in both Asia and Europe. Hemmings led the team that won the contract for AM General to deliver 5,500 HUUMV vehicles to the Chinese Army. Hemmings founded Stallion International, a business consulting and agent representative company, to provide a much needed bridge for U.S. companies, including several major U.S. based defense contractors, to conduct business in the Asian Pacific region. Hemmings is a graduate of Tampa College and has completed two years of the Harvard Business School three year OPM program.
