Rhea Perlman To Present Phoenix Resident With National Afterschool Hero Of The Year Award During Special Ceremony In Los AngelesWHO: Rhea Perlman, The Entertainment Industry Foundation, the U.S. Department of Education, the Afterschool Alliance, American Isuzu Motors, nominating student Ms. Amber Hudson, and award-winner, Mr. Michael LeFlore of the Phoenix-based Arizona IMPACT program. WHAT: Join Rhea Perlman for the presentation of the national Afterschool Hero of the Year award to the inaugural winner, Mr. Michael LeFlore -- founder/director of the Arizona IMPACT (I Motivate People and Community Together) Program. Mr. LeFlore was chosen from more than 20 regional winners as a national example of the important role afterschool plays in the lives and development of children and communities. As the national winner, Mr. LeFlore will be awarded the recently launched Isuzu Axiom at the event by program sponsor, American Isuzu Motors.
