What's the Problem With Build to Order? just-auto.com reports

    LONDON, Jan. 3 Building cars to order is more efficient
and promises increased customer satisfaction.  Why then is this approach to
manufacturing cars taking so long to adopt?  The Automotive World feature at

giants attempting to deliver a car within three days of customer order.
    Ideally all manufacturers would like to build to order but at the moment
customers would probably find themselves waiting 30-40 days for their new
cars.
