The Law Offices of Mark McNair Filed Class Action Lawsuits Against Twinlab Corporation and Daimler Chrysler
WASHINGTON, Jan. 2 The Law Offices of Mark McNair
announced that it has filed class action lawsuits against Twinlab Corporation
and Daimler Chrysler on behalf of shareholders.
Twinlab Corporation Class Period: April 27, 2000 to
November 15, 2000.
As alleged in the Complaint , Twinlab and certain of its officers inflated
the company's stock price during the Class Period by overstating its inventory
and by failing to account properly for obsolete inventory. The investing
public remained ignorant of these issues until November 15, 2000, when Twinlab
issued a news release saying it had turned up inventory shortages of more than
$8 million worth of herbal supplements. To sign up online:

DaimlerChrysler AG Class Period: November 14, 1998 to October
29, 2000, received DaimlerChrysler stock in exchange for Chrysler stock as a
result of the merger, or owned Chrysler stock as of July 20, 1998 As alleged
in the Complaint, Jurgen Schrempp, the longtime head of Daimler-Benz who is
now chairman of DaimlerChrysler, masterminded a plan to mislead Chrysler
shareholders into approving its merger with Daimler. By the end of November
2000, Schrempp had ousted almost all former Chrysler executives in top posts
-- including two "co-chairmen" representing the U.S. division. News about the
blatant deception and U.S. management unrest has caused the price of
DaimlerChrysler stock to plunge some 18%. To sign up online:

If you purchased either of these stocks in the class periods shown above,
you have until January 21, 2001 to participate in Twinlab case or until
January 29, 2001 to participate in the DaimlerChrysler case and ask the Court
to appoint you as one of the lead plaintiffs for the Class.
To serve as lead plaintiff, you must meet certain legal requirements. The
Law Offices of Mark McNair recognizes that investors with significant losses
often are uncertain about the class action process and they are unclear
whether they should take an active role in a case. The Law Offices of Mark
McNair would be happy to review this process with you. If you wish to any
