Sense Technologies Announces 2001 Tier 1 Supplier And Legislative Agenda
OMAHA, Neb.--Dec. 28, 2000--Sense Technologies Inc. NASDAQ (SNSG) CNDX (SSE) with worldwide manufacturing and marketing rights to the Guardian Alert(TM) microwave radar backup warning system, has announced plans to finalize an agreement with Automotive Tier 1 Suppliers and to actively participate in the process to enact Federal legislation involving the Guardian Alert(TM) in early 2001."Sense Technologies has had developing relationships with several of the world's top Tier 1 Suppliers, and we feel one or more of these will evolve into a strategic partnership to market the Guardian Alert(TM) in the top markets in the very near future," said Bruce Schreiner, Director, Sense Technologies Inc. "We expect significant progress to be made in our next series of meetings, which are scheduled in early January 2001."
In addition, the company is actively pursuing Federal legislation to require countermeasure devices such as the Guardian Alert(TM) be installed on certain of the new and existing vehicle populations. "Significant relationships with key members of Congress and the U.S. Department of Transportation have been established," Schreiner added. "We have a significant bipartisan effort underway, and believe the safety initiative has been embraced by the Congressional members and their staffs. We will further that agenda as well in scheduled meetings within the next two weeks."
