ProcessClaims Closes Year 2000 with 10,000th Live Claim Transaction
IRVINE, Calif.--Dec. 27, 2000--ProcessClaims, the first Web-based claims solutions provider to translate live data via the Internet, has completed its 10,000th live auto insurance claims transaction.The claim, representing one of approximately 3,500 conducted through the ProcessClaims Web site in December, occurred in Gainesville, Fla., originating from Explorer Insurance Co. and was assigned to Doan of Gainesville, an independent appraisal affiliate of Doan & Co.
"What needs to be understood by the industry is that we're talking about a real auto insurance claim transaction, originating from a real insurance company, on a real auto claim," explained David Boden, ProcessClaims Chief Information Officer. We've proven the value of our product with our customers, and we now have 10,000 live claims transactions under our belt via multiple estimating systems."
