Midas to Webcast Today's Investor Conference Call

    ITASCA, Ill.--Dec. 21, 2000--Midas, Inc., will conduct a conference call with the investment community beginning today (Thursday, Dec. 21) at 4:15 p.m. (Eastern Time). During the call, Wendel H. Province, Midas' chairman and chief executive officer, and R. Lee Barclay, executive vice president and chief financial officer, will discuss the company's updated outlook for the fourth quarter of 2000 and for 2001.
