PlanetCad's DesignQA Wins Cadence Editors' Choice Award; Company Receives Second Award from Publication with New Version of Quality-Assurance Software

(AMEX: PCD), the world's leading developer of Web-hosted engineering application services and interoperability solutions for manufacturers, today announced that its DesignQA(R) quality-assurance software won the CADENCE magazine's Editors' Choice Award.This is the second CADENCE magazine's Editors' Choice Award win for PlanetCAD. In December 1999, PlanetCAD's 3Dshare.com(TM) also won the award. 3Dshare.com automatically translates and heals 3D models through its Web-application.
DesignQA is the leading engineering quality software system that detects, assesses, corrects and prevents product development problems caused by inaccurate, incomplete or inconsistent design modeling practices.
