M. Catherine Jaros Elected to Board of Directors of Universal Automotive Industries, Inc.

, is pleased to announce that M. Catherine Jaros of Northbrook,
Ill. has been elected to its Board of Directors to fill a vacant seat.
Ms. Jaros is the principal of a business development, marketing and e-strategy
consulting firm.  Prior to that, Ms. Jaros was President of Starbelly.com,
Inc., an e-commerce personalized clothing and merchandise business that she
managed from its inception.  Ms. Jaros brings to Universal's Board 27 years
experience in marketing, strategy and business development work including
having held executive positions with The Quaker Oats Company, Kraft USA,
Tribune Company and a predecessor to Madison Dearborn Partners.
