Taiwanese Car Market to Slow Sharply? just-auto.com Reports

    LONDON, Dec. 20 http://www.just-auto.com -- New car sales
in Taiwan are expected to slow in the coming months, but it is only expected
to be a short-term occurrence.
    The report at http://just-auto.com/features_detail.asp?art=406 says that
the uncertainty of the global economic environment, relations with China
continuing to cast a shadow and the new government's continued weakness will
all be contributors to the slow.
    Good news, however, is that although new car sales are not expected to
reach previous highs, longer term the Taiwanese automotive market will see a
period of moderate but sustainable growth.
