AMCI Announces Executive AppointmentsVISTA, Calif., Dec. 19 Automotive Marketing Consultants Inc. (AMCI) President Gordon Wangers announced four strategic appointments that will further strengthen AMCI's executive team. Effective immediately, Jim Sanfilippo is named executive vice president, regional director, Detroit; Bob Peterson is European sales director; Bill Bartlett is program manager; and Joe Hogan is vice president, finance and administration. "These four executives bring an impressive mix of marketing, sales and administrative talent to the AMCI team," said Wangers. Jim Sanfilippo, as executive vice president, regional director, Detroit, is responsible for overseeing AMCI's Detroit operations, and expanding AMCI's proven reputation for creative marketing solutions within the region. Before coming to AMCI he accumulated 25 years of OEM and advertising agency experience, including previous positions with Chevrolet, Volkswagen (Porsche/Audi) and Kia. Bob Peterson, as European sales director, is coordinating AMCI's testing and event work in Europe, and brings extensive multi-cultural experience to the task. His credentials include work at Saatchi & Saatchi, Ted Bates, SSC&B Lintas and 17 years as a senior executive on the Toyota account. Bill Bartlett, as program manager, is a full-time manager on AMCI's exclusive Learn & Drive(R) events, following years of experience with AMCI programs. Bartlett is a capable professional driver with wide-reaching competition experience, including Dodge Neons and Mazda Miatas and Proteges. Joe Hogan, as vice president, finance and administration, oversees all of AMCI's complex financial and administrative functions. His background includes an emphasis in operations, business planning and mergers and acquisitions.
