Christmas Comes Early for an 11-Year-Old Inkster Girl, Thanks to Lou LaRiche Chevrolet and the Make A Wish Foundation of MichiganPLYMOUTH, Mich., Dec. 19 Recent heart transplant patient Robin of Inkster is going to The Magic Kingdom, Epcot Center, MGM Studios, Animal Kingdom, Sea World and Universal Studios, thanks in part to the sales staff at Lou LaRiche Chevrolet, and the Make A Wish Foundation of Michigan. It all started with the Dealership joining UAW/GM and donating $25 per new vehicle sold in December during the WISH MATCH 25 PROGRAM. The sales staff saw an opportunity to get more involved. The phone calls were made and Matt Shinabarger of Make A Wish Foundation of Michigan in Livonia (888-857-WISH) responded with information about Robin. The sales staff and management team donated funds to help finance Robin and her family's trip. Matt Shinabarger said, "Robin couldn't be more excited to finally have her wish come true!" To help celebrate Robin's upcoming trip, a party is planned for 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 20 at Lou LaRiche Chevrolet, located at 40875 Plymouth Rd. in Plymouth, Mich., 734-453-4600. "The feeling you get helping someone like this is fantastic, it's even better that Christmas is so close," said Tom Adkins of Lou LaRiche Chevrolet.
