"We will be able to effectively maneuver the constantly changing political landscape with someone of his experience." Kuhnmuench joins the ADM from the Michigan Retailers Association, where he served as vice president for governmental affairs. In his new position, Kuhnmuench will work with the Michigan Legislature and state administrative agencies in the formation and shaping of legislation that affects auto dealerships as well as consumers. He will implement a broad-based legislative program including direct advocacy, member grass roots involvement and the coordination and implementation of PAC fundraising activities. Additionally, he will be a liaison between the ADM, and the respective boards of the MADA and the DADA. "Through the formation of the ADM, we have a fulltime, dedicated legislative voice in Lansing for the auto dealers of Michigan," said Kim Thompson, president of the MADA. "This voice will curtail the many issues that auto dealers face with today's changing regulations and consumer issues." The ADM was formed to enhance and streamline the legislative, political action and grass roots activities of Michigan's 860 auto dealers.
