Thrifty Announces Triple, Double or Bonus Miles With Three Airline Partners

    TULSA, Okla., Dec. 19 From January 1 through
March 31, 2001, Thrifty Car Rental will offer its customers triple, double or
bonus frequent-flyer miles with three of its airline partners:  Alaska
Airlines (triple miles); America West Airlines (double miles); and US Airways
(200 bonus miles in addition to the normal 250 miles per rental).
    To qualify for triple, double or bonus miles, customers must:

    -- Rent for a minimum of two days, with bonus miles awarded up to a
       maximum of 14 days, and mileage awarded at the normal level thereafter;
    -- Rent during the special promotional dates Jan. 1 -- March 31, 2000;
    -- Rent from a Thrifty airport location; and
    -- Customers should supply their frequent flyer identification number at
       the time of rental or at time of pick up.

    The details of each airline's program follows:

    Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan
    Mileage Plan members who rent from Thrifty in the U.S. and Canada will
earn 150 miles per rental day (triple the normal 50 miles).

    America West Airlines FlightFund(R)
    FlightFund members who rent from Thrifty in North America will earn
100 miles per rental day (double the normal 50).

    US Airways Dividend Miles
    Dividend Miles members who rent from Thrifty worldwide will receive the
normal 250 miles plus a bonus of 200 miles per rental transaction.

    Additionally, U.S. customers who park at Thrifty parking locations can
earn 250 miles after three visits with any of the above airline partners
within a 12-month period.
