Speed and Connectivity: The New Landscape is the Theme Of 25th Automotive News World Congress, January 15-18
    DETROIT, Dec. 18 DaimlerChrysler Chairman Juergen
Schrempp, General Motors North America President Ron Zarrella and Ford of
Mexico President and CEO Kathleen Ligocki are among nearly three dozen
automotive industry leaders addressing the 25th annual Automotive News World
Congress.  The four-day program is slated for Jan. 15-18, 2001 at the Marriott
Renaissance Center in Detroit, Mich.
    Speed and Connectivity:  The New Landscape is the theme of the 2001
Automotive News World Congress, one of the world's top automotive events.
Sponsored by PricewaterhouseCoopers, in cooperation with the Center for
Automotive Research, the conference runs concurrently with the North American
International Auto Show.
    More than 1,000 prominent automotive experts and top managers of the
industry's leading companies are expected to attend.  The four-day agenda
includes:
