Ford Chooses CAD/IQ for CAD Model Quality

    MILFORD, Ohio--Dec. 18, 2000--International TechneGroup Incorporated (ITI), the world's leading provider of product data interoperability solutions, announces that Ford Motor Company has selected ITI's industry-leading CAD model quality testing and interoperability software, CAD/IQ(TM) (www.cadiq.com). CAD/IQ directly identifies topological and geometric defects in CAD models (as configured by the user). The software also tracks the number of opportunities for each type of defect. After analyzing a batch of models, CAD/IQ automatically uses this information to estimate a six-sigma quality level.
