SCITUATE, Mass., Dec. 14 The weather outside may be
frightful, but camping enthusiasts can warm their spirits by getting a jump on
their vacation planning at the 12th annual M.A.C.O. (Massachusetts Association
of Campground Owners) Camping & RV Show. Scheduled for January 5th through

the show will bring together more than 50 campgrounds from across New England,
along with whitewater rafting outfits, RV dealers and vacation package
representatives.
From the pristine beaches of Cape Cod to the rural beauty of the
Berkshires to the unspoiled peacefulness of the Green and White Mountains of
Vermont and New Hampshire, visitors to the show will find a vast array of
campgrounds representing the diversity of the New England region. Those
interested in camping with a few more creature comforts will find a wide
variety of RVs and campers on display. Campers wishing to add a little
adventure to their vacations will find information on whitewater rafting
excursions. And all visitors can pick up a complimentary copy of the award-
winning M.A.C.O. campground directory, offering information on more than 100
state and private campgrounds throughout Massachusetts, including complete
details on each campground's amenities and facilities, local tourist
attractions and driving directions.
Show hours are Friday, January 5th from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m., Saturday,
