New England Campgrounds and RV Dealers Open Their Doors To Winter Weary Camping EnthusiastsSCITUATE, Mass., Dec. 14 The weather outside may be frightful, but camping enthusiasts can warm their spirits by getting a jump on their vacation planning at the 12th annual M.A.C.O. (Massachusetts Association of Campground Owners) Camping & RV Show. Scheduled for January 5th through January 7th at the Best Western Royal Trade Plaza in Marlboro, Massachusetts, the show will bring together more than 50 campgrounds from across New England, along with whitewater rafting outfits, RV dealers and vacation package representatives. From the pristine beaches of Cape Cod to the rural beauty of the Berkshires to the unspoiled peacefulness of the Green and White Mountains of Vermont and New Hampshire, visitors to the show will find a vast array of campgrounds representing the diversity of the New England region. Those interested in camping with a few more creature comforts will find a wide variety of RVs and campers on display. Campers wishing to add a little adventure to their vacations will find information on whitewater rafting excursions. And all visitors can pick up a complimentary copy of the award- winning M.A.C.O. campground directory, offering information on more than 100 state and private campgrounds throughout Massachusetts, including complete details on each campground's amenities and facilities, local tourist attractions and driving directions. Show hours are Friday, January 5th from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m., Saturday, January 6th from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Sunday, January 7th from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for children between the ages of six to 16 and free for children under six. Admission entitles all visitors to complimentary entry in a raffle with fabulous prizes, including an outdoor fireplace, free camping certificates and camping equipment. One lucky winner will go home with the grand prize canoe. The show is conveniently located at the Best Western Royal Trade Plaza in Marlboro, exit 24B off of I-495. Parking is free. M.A.C.O.
