Circuit City to Host Conference Call With Release of Third Quarter Earnings For the Circuit City Group and the CarMax Group

    RICHMOND, Dec. 12 Circuit City Stores, Inc.
will host a conference call for interested investors at 11:00 a.m.
ET on December 18, 2000.  The call will follow the release earlier that
morning of third quarter earnings for both the Circuit City Group
and the CarMax Group .
