MediaSpaceBank Appoints Gayle Champagne VP/Sales, Midwest Region

NORWALK, Conn.--Dec. 8, 2000--MediaSpaceBank (MSB) appointed Gayle Champagne to the position of VP/Sales, Midwest Region.
The announcement was made by MSB President and CEO Geoff Dodge.
Most recently VP/National Sales Director at the Newspaper National Network (NNN), Champagne has spent almost all of her 20-year career selling print media working with automotive advertisers in the Detroit market. Her extensive knowledge of the industry includes being part of the core group that started the NNN and being on the Board of Directors of the AdCraft Club of Detroit.
"Gayle Champagne represents a strategic coup for us," said Dodge. "Her experience selling print in the Detroit market will help us bring our message to some of the biggest, most demanding advertisers in the world. And those are the advertisers MSB can help the most."
Champagne agreed saying, "The editorial independence that makes newspapers so powerful as an advertising medium also makes them complicated to work with. MSB's integrated approach simplifies this greatly, and efficiency means a lot to national advertisers that run dozens or even hundreds of newspaper ads each week." Champagne will continue to operate from her office in suburban Detroit.
MSB offers advertisers an end-to-end print media service that includes media planning, negotiation, trafficking, fulfillment and billing. In addition, the company offers exclusive media products including networks of special sections in daily newspapers that reach targeted audiences. MSB is also developing web-based tools that will provide an e-commerce solution to the problem of buying multi-market print campaigns.

MediaSpaceBank is a business-to-business e-commerce company that specializes in planning, negotiating and placing print advertising campaigns using traditional technologies. The Norwalk-CT based company is creating web-based tools that allow advertisers to plan and execute multi-market print advertising campaigns.
