Ensera Announces Availability of Internet-enabled Collision Repair Management Solutions

    REDWOOD SHORES, Calif.--Dec. 8, 2000--

iON Control and iON Express Represent Affordable Breakthrough Technology for Managing Collision Repair Operations of All Sizes

Ensera has taken one more step towards its goal of revolutionizing the automotive collision repair marketplace with the announcement today of the availability of state-of-the-art collision repair management solutions.
Beginning tomorrow at the National Autobody Congress Exposition (NACE) in Orlando, Fla., Ensera adds the following products to its rapidly expanding portfolio of marketplace automation tools:

-- iON Express(TM) - an application that seamlessly moves data from all three major estimating systems into QuickBooks Pro(TM)
-- iON Control(TM) - a complete repair facility management solution that provides complete business management including parts, production, job costing and full accounting integration

According to Jack Rozint, SVP Marketing & Product Management at Ensera, "For years, repairers have struggled with expensive and complicated systems that required users to do a lot of data entry. They were forced to choose between spending thousands of dollars on complicated software or running their businesses without complete automation. We saw an opportunity to deliver a solution that is affordable, powerful, flexible and yet east to use."
With subscription based pricing beginning at less than $50 per month, Ensera offers solutions tailored to the specific business needs of each repair facility. Repairers can add modules as their needs change with no interruption to operations. Both products integrate seamlessly with Ensera's iON Connection which provides data transfer from all major estimating systems using CIECA EMS formats. Internet communication through iON Connection allows for parts ordering and repair status updating to websites which Ensera provides for its repair facility customers.
The products have undergone rigorous beta testing over the past months leading to the product launch this week. The enthusiasm of beta users such as Kevin Weldon, general manager, CarCrafters Autobody, Albuquerque, N.M., has been strong. According to Weldon, "I've used the ARMS system for years and more recently we installed one of the other major management systems. iON Control is amazingly easy-to-use -- I hardly ever touch my keyboard any more, as the system is driven by 'point and click.' We do over $4 million per year in sales, and I can get my payroll done in minutes where it used to take me all day. This package beats the competition by a mile!"
Ensera is committed to delivering collision repair solutions that are affordable, powerful and easy to learn and use. All Ensera solutions are based on open systems standards and utilize all available CIECA data formats.
