Simula's New CEO Interviewed on `CEOcast'

PHOENIX--Dec. 5, 2000--Simula Inc. (AMEX:SMU) President and CEO Brad Forst conducted an interview with Michael Wachs of "CEOcast" on Nov. 30, 2000.
The interview, in which Forst discusses the company's current operations and its plans for future growth, is available at www.ceocast.com through Thursday, Dec. 7, 2000.
Among the topics Forst addresses is the anticipated growth in Simula's aerospace and defense business, which historically has been largely unaffected by changes in Congress and the White House, as well as plans to monetize the company's portfolio of technologies through alliances with strategic partners.
Simula, with headquarters in Phoenix, is a diversified technology company that designs and manufactures occupant safety systems and devices engineered to safeguard human life in a wide range of air, ground and sea transportation vehicles. The company operates in two principal markets that are aligned with its core technologies: aerospace and defense systems, and automotive safety systems.
The company's core products and technologies include inflatable restraints, energy-absorbing seating systems, advanced polymer materials, transparent and opaque armor products, personnel protective equipment and parachutes, and crash sensors. Additional information about Simula can be found at its Web site, www.simula.com.
