Local Internet Provider, Enterprise Expectation Systems, Develops Automotive Dealer Software Boosting Dealership Activity and Sales in First MonthROCHESTER, Mich., Dec. 5 A new Internet software program that allows customers to purchase and check actual real-time inventory at auto dealerships has already boosted dealership activity 80 percent and sold 20 cars in its first month of operation at one Warren dealership. The Dealership Sales Consultant(TM) (DSC) is the brainchild of Harry Lee, CEO of Enterprise Expectation Systems (EES), a Rochester Internet service provider. "Besides boosting our sales, DSC is a great tool to use in the showroom," says Michael Boguth, general manager of Hamilton Chevrolet in Warren, Michigan. "We can display inventory, both stock and in-bound, utilizing exhaustive search criteria. The program allows for immediate dealer editing of data and provides a method for home users to facilitate a purchase or lease without ever setting foot in the door. One order came from as far as Howell, Michigan!" Boguth also says he's amazed how easily new web pages can be created for each department. He expects sales to be even higher during the second month of operation. Lee, who is in the process of selling DSC to dealerships across the country, said he developed the program after many conversations with general managers of dealerships. "Training is also included as part of the package," he said. "DSC gives dealers the control they need to serve customers better while boosting the bottom line. And, it gives customers all the search options to speed up the buying process." Lee left his position at EDS to start his company five years ago. Besides being one of the largest Internet service providers in the area, he is working on several new concepts for the automotive industry.
