Office and Professional Employees International Union (OPEIU) Local 494 and the International Union, UAW Open Negotiations 
    DETROIT, Dec. 4 Today at 1 p.m. the Office and
Professional Employees International Union (OPEIU) Local 494 and the
International Union, UAW opened negotiations.
    OPEIU Local 494 represents over 400 clerical and maintenance employees in
the International Union, UAW offices across the United States and Puerto Rico.
    The current agreement will expire on February 1, 2001.
