Powerway Taps Lowring as CFO

    INDIANAPOLIS--Dec. 4, 2000--

Brings to executive team experience in financial management of public and private technology companies

Powerway, Inc., a pioneer in providing advanced collaborative e-business solutions for manufacturing, today named Dan K. Lowring as its chief financial officer.
With more than a decade of experience in the financial management of both public and private technology companies, Lowring joins Powerway from eShare Communications, Inc. where he served as CFO, vice president for finance, corporate treasurer and secretary.
Lowring is the latest appointment to Powerway's management team in a year that has seen executives from such companies as Oracle, Sabre and BP Amoco join the rapidly growing organization founded 13 years ago.
"Dan's experience in managing strategic growth and profitability will further strengthen the outstanding executive team that we have built," Mike Campbell, Powerway CEO said in making today's announcement. "With Dan, we are bringing someone on board who has a deep understanding of both finance and technology. We look forward to leveraging his expertise and leadership."
Lowring joined eShare, then known as Melita International Corporation, in 1990 as corporate controller and finance manager and held several other key positions including vice president for corporate and strategic planning. He was instrumental in leading the company through a successful IPO in 1997 and, the following year, was named chief financial officer.
He holds an MBA from Georgia State University and an undergraduate degree in finance from the University of Georgia. Lowring began his career as an accounting supervisor with R.H. Macy's in Athens, Georgia and two years later was made operations manager. He also spent four years as a financial consultant with Raymond James, Inc.
