    TROY, Mich., Dec. 4 Automotive Technical Resources, Inc.
(ATRi), a leading provider of automotive diagnostics and integrated
information delivery systems, announced today its acquisition of ASPIRE, Inc.,
a leading provider of automotive educational and training materials.
    ASPIRE will enhance ATRi's existing educational and training programs by
providing multi-faceted information and services to ATRi customers.  ASPIRE
provides ATRi with legacy data for vehicles as old as 1981, complete
audio/video capabilities which can be used to support ATRi's existing
educational formats as well as Internet formats like those used on the ATRisys
system.  The acquisition also gives ATRi a full-time program development staff

to, automotive applications.
