WorldNet Resource Group Finalizes Acquisition of AutoPoint.com
MARINA DEL REY, Calif.--Dec. 4, 2000--WorldNet Resource Group, Inc. (OTCBB:WNRG) announced today the completion of its acquisition of AutoPoint.com.Expected to launch within the next ninety days, AutoPoint.com will offer customers the convenience of reserving a mechanic via the Internet to be dispatched to their home or office. The company is compiling a national base of mechanical service providers in order to offer this convenience to motorists around the country.
"AutoPoint.com fits right into WNRG's business model, one of the criteria of which is that the companies must be financially self-supporting within our allotted time period," said Stephen Brown, President/CEO of WorldNet Resource Group. "Not only does this venture require extremely low overhead, since all services will be performed by outside companies, but AutoPoint.com also has a high potential for revenues, which will be generated from two sources: membership fees paid by affiliated mechanics, and commissions received for services rendered."
