Infiniti Posts November Sales: QX4 Sales Up 8.4 Percent

    CARSON, Calif., Dec. 1 Infiniti, the luxury division of
Nissan North America, Inc. (NNA), today posted sales of 4,802 vehicles in
November, a 14.3 percent decrease from November last year.
    Combined corporate sales for Nissan and Infiniti Divisions continue to
buck the downward trend in the industry with combined sales for the Nissan and
Infiniti Divisions of 52,617 units, an increase versus 1999 of 4.3 percent.
    QX4 led the division with 1,361 units, an increase over this month last
year of 8.4 percent.  The Infiniti I30 sedan, although still enjoying a record
calendar year, saw November sales fall to 2,427 units, a 12.4 percent decrease
versus last year.

    Other sales highlights:

    -- G20     November sales of 814 units
    -- Q45     November sales of 200 units
