Nissan Division Sales Post 6.7 Percent Increase

    CARSON, Calif., Dec. 1 Sales of Nissan Division cars and
trucks for November increased compared with year-ago levels, while
year-to-date sales in 2000 continue to outpace those of 1999.
    Sales for November 2000 totaled 47,815 units, up 6.7 percent, compared to
44,821 units sold during the same month last year.
    Combined corporate sales for Nissan and Infiniti Divisions continue to
buck the downward trend in the industry with combined sales of 52,617 units,
an increase versus 1999 of 4.3 percent.  Altima led November sedan sales with
9,593 units, an increase versus last year of 17.8 percent.  Frontier pickup
led Nissan truck sales with 8,006 units, a 2.6 percent decrease versus last
year.

    Other sales highlights include:

    --  Sentra sales of 8,868
    --  Maxima sales of 7,995
    --  Xterra sales of 6,181
    --  Pathfinder sales of 5,161
    --  Quest sales of 2,011
